Julie Pernet is a French illustrator based in Brussels. A large part of her artwork explores our relationship to the Living in narrative and bittersweet compositions. She draws since childhood and has created her universe inspired by naïve art and the work of Miyazaki, Rothko and Folon. Julie works mostly traditionally with watercolour and ink with a warm and vivid approach to colour. Recently, she has started to print her owns risographs, after a training at Les Ateliers du Toner (Brussels).
