Profile
Laurel Taylor is an interdisciplinary artist based in Taos, NM.
Her works are grounded in imagery from the physical and spiritual realms and are all created in meditative flow. Laurel sings songs of the heart and prayers to the Earth while creating her works to weave the healing and the imagery together as one.

She graduated with her AFA with honors from UNM-Taos at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. Since then, she decided to dive into her block printing practice and transformed her art into her own small business, Wilde.Ink, where she adorns apparel, prints, and tapestries with her medicine of the heart. She hand carves every block with her original designs and hand presses the blocks into fabric and paper in her studio. In 2022, Wilde.Ink has proudly set ink and block in Arroyo Seco, NM in a studio with Arroyo Seco Live spaces. She has open studio hours and pop up shops every month with options for customers to customize their own apparel item by choosing block imagery from the Wilde.Ink library and ink colors.

All works are an intimate and unique expression of the universe. She currently adores creating large scale tapestry works to bring the spirit and earthly realms together in people’s homes and sacred spaces.
