Profile
VrijFormaat showcases the artwork of designers Esther van de Visch and Joke van de Fliert. They chose the name – which translates as ‘free format’ – because they like to experiment with all kinds of techniques. There are digital vector designs, repeatable patterns, handmade embroideries, embossings in paper, drawings with ink on paper, paintings, monoprints, linoprints and last but not least, risoprints.
At the moment they focus mainly on risoprinting, since they acquired a second hand risograph a few months ago. So now they can experiment freely.
