Vjeran Juhas Piro is a graphic designer from Pula, Croatia. Graphic design is his primary way of creative execution and it brings food to the table but recently he is trying to use other creative techniques in his everyday work and also as a way of his personal creative expression. Illustration is one way of doing it with the tools that are endless and his wish to try them all is insatiable. At this time he likes to dabble in linocut printing and screen printing… and he hopes it will stay that way for a while. The need for meticulousness and time consumption makes him value those techniques even more. He loves and buys tons of comic books, reads them and then let others read them in his comic book public library in Pula. Polaroid photography is also his great passion. He owns more drawing tools than he could possibly need and use. If you ask what topics he likes to cover in his work he will say “What are topics?”. He hopes you enjoy his work.
