Virginia Diakakis is an Athens based conceptual illustrator and printmaker.
The Greener Pastures is her art child.
Her work is inspired by nature, symbolism, myths and folklore of Greece and the world.
She works with traditional and digital mediums and her latest obsession is linocut printing.
She is also a playwright, a set designer, Sophia’s mom, her cat’s servant and her dog’s best friend.
She loves life’s irony and a quirky sense of humour.
Born and raised in Athens, she studied graphic design in Greece and subsequently moved to Florence, where she studied in the Fine Arts Academy.
