Hi there, my name’s Fiona and I’m the soul behind The Alchemist Project. I create from my gypsy home as I wander around Australia.
A background in fashion design and textiles ultimately lead me to my love for lino printing. Picking up on esoteric sub-notes in fashion history research; a rabbit hole tangent turned into a deep appreciation for folklore, fairytales, magic and symbolism. My self taught hands gift me the ability to transform the imagery created in my stargazing mind into something tangibly magical.
An Alchemist is a person who transforms something through a seemingly magical process… Creating is magic and magic is life.
