Created in 1966 by modernist designer Massimo Vignelli, The Stendig Calendar was named after the company that commissioned it. The calendar was an instant hit, entering into the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. To date, it remains the only calendar on display there.

Vignelli’s design is simple yet bold, using the iconic typeface Helvetica on large, 3ft x 4ft sheets of high quality, 160gsm paper. The sheets are detachable, designed to be removed with each passing month and alternate between black and white. The previous months’ sheets are easily recyclable and reusable as they make excellent wrapping paper.
