Erin Barry-Dutro is a printmaker, designer, and installation artist living and working in Baltimore City. She has a BFA in Painting and Printmaking, with a concentration in lithography, from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently an MFA candidate at Towson University. In 2016 she founded Shinyfresh Press, a small printmaking studio that conducts occasional print exchanges and hosts artists on its Dickerson combination press and silkscreen printing facilities. Erin’s personal practice combines printmaking (with an emphasis on silkscreen monotyping), installation art, and textiles. Her work is typified by its use of bright colors and queer, community, and social justice oriented themes.
