Rodrigo Botero is a Brazilian graphic designer and tattoo artist based in Germany, who has been involved with offline media since his youth. The tropical folk aesthetics of his designs, full of textures, strong shapes, and bold colors, contrast with the delicate Asian rice paper that he uses as support. In order to bring his own identity to his work, he has developed his own linoleum print technique, creating his own tools and incorporating elements from Brazilian Cordel, Japanese Ukiyo-e, and screen printing.
