Oh for print’s sake is the printmaking moniker of Rhianne Connelly, a designer based in Dundee, Scotland.
Being true to her roots, both as a designer and Scot, her desire is to craft beautiful prints that celebrate Scottish quirks and heritage. Dundonian history is a huge influence on Rhianne’s design practice and she loves being able to share her city’s past in new and alternative ways. She uses a blend of printmaking mediums to bring her colourful creations to life, experimenting primarily with letterpress, risograph and screen printing. Being drawn to bold patterns, playful typography and pops of colour in her print design, she sees the design process as a craft and creates prints that are a real labour of love. Her prints are there to spark conversation and shine a spotlight on the past.
