Nina Gozzi is a New England-based artist primarily practicing graphic design. She is currently pursuing her MFA at Boston University, where she studies sustainable design. Nina’s main mediums of work in graphic design are editorial, risography, and screen printing.
Nina’s work starts with breaking down ideas into their most basic form and then reconstructing them in new and different ways. She turns to entry points and micro-movements to implement small changes into her practice and attempts to recontextualize her surroundings. Recognizing the importance of sustainable pedagogy within graphic design is essential to Nina’s work. Also, at the level of professional practice, Nina looks for ways to take an active stance as a steward and model leadership that can be meaningful.
