Profile
I’m a queer linocut artist from Paris. I’ve got a degree in art history and english and I currently teach english as a second language. I started my printmaking journey a year ago during the first lockdown and it became a real passion. I quickly developped my own style – in line with my photography work – mainly inspired by 19th century photographs, the occult and classical paintings. I’m still working everyday to improve my printmaking skills and in a year I’ve worked with many different types of paper, inks, registration devices and presses. I currently make my linocuts at home with a small handpress but will expand my production once I can move into a larger house. I also make my own paper by recycling test prints.
I’m now eager to be part of a larger community of artists to inspire and get inspired from. I’m also interested in hosting printmaking workshops in my city and would love to connect with other art teachers from around the world.
