Casey is a printmaker and self-taught artist based in Boston, Massachusetts. She currently works in journal operations at an academic publisher (and sometimes helps the team out with designing journal covers).
She learned about printmaking in her undergraduate literary program and quickly fell in love with the medium. She primarily works with linoleum to create relief prints, often inspired by medieval manuscript illuminations, mythology, and folklore. You will find that many of her prints are embellished with gold foil and watercolors: another way for her to follow in the tradition of medieval illuminations.
