Karen Takahashi is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Kelowna, British Columbia.
She was born in Tokyo, Japan, growing up in a multicultural environment in and out of Japan.
Through screen printing and media art, she explores the presence of paradoxical elements in culture and her identity. She uses her background in tap dancing and her love for music to fuel her creative practice.
