Profile
Hally & Christy Prints was established in 2019 as a collaboration between two partners and printmakers from diverse backgrounds: one entirely self-taught, and the other formally educated through evening classes, and the study of Art at school. Initially, they aimed to showcase their linocut prints sharing them with family and friends.
Their work first gained recognition in a pet magazine, Drool by BixbiPet, in 2021, which featured several of their dog-themed prints.
Drawing inspiration from Japanese prints, in 2023, they submitted a piece titled “My Tea’s Gone Cold” to the Awagami International Mini Print Exhibition and were honoured with an honourable mention, culminating in an exhibition in Japan.
Their ongoing passion is the creation of a diverse range of linocut prints that not only bring joy but also forge connections and resonate with people.
Their prints are regularly available for purchase on their Etsy shop and they share their printmaking process/journey through Instagram videos and photos.
