Dave Lefner is a Los Angeles-based artist, who works exclusively in the medium of Reduction Linocuts. He prints on a fairly large scale, using a 30” x 60” hand-cranked Conrad Monotype press, in very small editions, rarely more than 10. He lives/works at the Brewery Artist Colony, which is considered to be the world’s largest artist community with over 300 loft spaces.
His subject matter reflects the 50s & 60s era of Americana in all its forms, ranging from vintage neon to classic cars, as well as common objects of this Golden Age.
