Caitlin Parks is a London based silkscreen artist and illustrator. Her work is inspired by nature, travel, wildlife and narrative. She primarily uses screen printing as a process to create imagery, often finalising designs into limited edition prints.
Caitlin uses both traditional drawing and photography to explore her ideas. Combining these through collage, she creates vivid, atmospheric artworks that explore the world around us and the stories we tell. Textures and colour play an important role in her aesthetic. She is drawn to the physical and tactile aspects of screen printing as a means to create imagery and the endless possibilities and mishaps that come with the process.
