Artist Profile – Anthony Leblicq

Anthony Leblicq is a Belgian visual artist born in 1973, whose work seamlessly blends past and present, analog and digital. With over 25 years of experience, Anthony has developed a strong artistic signature by combining collage, photography, and screen printing. His art is deeply inspired by American culture from the 50’s ans 60’s, a period he explores and reinterprets through bold compositions. His works, both nostalgic and strikingly modern, mix black-and-white images from bygone eras with vibrant contemporary colors, creating captivating visual tensions.

Inspired by artists such as Andy Warhol, Banksy, Shuby, Mr Edward and many more, Anthony uses collage as his primary medium. Not drawing or painting himself, he channels his creativity through the assembly and transformation of found images, which he combines with his own photography. His technique masterfully merges analog and digital collage, finalized through screen printing, producing limited editions of 1 to 20 pieces. His commitment to innovation, coupled with his exploration of techniques like screen printing, reflects his constant quest to surprise and move his audience.

After years of personal exploration and honing his craft, Anthony became a full-time independent artist in January 2023. He is now seeking galleries and retailers interested in sharing his work with a curious audience looking for unique pieces. His creations never fail to spark reflection on time and the meeting of past and present in contemporary art.

Flash Folders Project
Anthony Leblicq’s Flash Project is an extension of his artistic universe, now in a compact and accessible format. Like his larger works, these pouchs are bold creations that mix vintage black-and-white imagery with vibrant, contemporary colors. Each Flash pouch is a small artwork in its own right, carefully crafted to capture the essence of his work, offering art lovers and collectors the opportunity to acquire an exclusive piece of his artistic world.

Produced in limited editions, the Flash Project carry an element of rarity, making them particularly appealing for contemporary and urban art retailers. Anthony offers an innovative approach, where functionality and aesthetics meet in an object that is both practical and decorative.
