Screen printing and nature illustrations make up my practice, having developed a fascination with nature that started at a young age. I showcase the wild and natural world through the medium of ink on paper, which I am passionate about. I create prints that highlight the beauty and wonder of our world.
My aim to push the constrictions of the flatness of screen printing and find ways to bring my screen prints to life. I enjoy exploring the build up of ink and transparent layers, creating unique effects that reflect the subject matter. My chosen wildlife takes inspiration from the facts I learn through observation, literature or documentaries. I love a good fact such as Toucans love oranges and sloths grow their very own gardens on their backs, who knew?
