Profile
Nina Scceletton is a multidisciplinary artist who graduated from the Fine Arts School of Toulon in 2010. Her prints are rooted in traditional representations of anatomy. They celebrate the complexity of the human form while highlighting our intimate connection with nature. Beneath the bones of a first engraving that is torn, cut, or burned, one can glimpse a proliferation of insects, representing miniature ecosystems that are interconnected and essential to life, creating a visual symbiosis. The torn heart opens to the buzzing of a beehive, and butterflies are on the verge of taking flight from an opened ribcage. She regularly participates in group exhibitions in Paris and across France, and she also publishes in various art zines and alternative magazines.
