Profile
I am a linocut artist from the South of France based in London, England. I started my printmaking journey in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. I found enjoyment in using my hands, stepping away from a screen and the slow but rewarding process of lino printing.
I find a lot of my inspiration in 20th century paintings, especially the work of Magritte and Hopper, exploring the theme of melancholy with a hint of surrealism. I also enjoy composing still lifes, particularly vanitas. Music is a great influence on my work too; I often like to recreate music venues or album covers from artists I’m fond of.
