Laura Piantoni (`77) is an Munich-based artist focusing primarily on silkscreen-printing. She concentrated on this area whilst studying at Academy of Fine Arts Munich (`99-`06) and the Zurich University of Arts (`01).
In large-format, neoncolored handpulled screenprints, Piantoni combines motif collages in the tradition of Pop Art; fragments from Hollywood, mass media and social media are sampled and arrenged in a new context.
With her curated artproject MUNICH POP ART she brings together since 2016 amazing munich artists with urban art background in one yearly exhibtion.
