My name is Kaska Niemiro the artist behind Perfectly Possessed project.

I’m a self taught illustrator/designer and printer.

Born and raised in a gloomy end of 70’ in Warsaw, Poland i developed already as a teenager big love for vivid colors found on rare comic pages and books.All these hobbies made me move to Berlin in the early 2000’s where I spent number of years indulging my interest in attending comic conventions, visiting underground concerts, art galleries, collecting comics, punk flyers & gig posters and records.

Another breakthrough came when I had the opportunity to discovered the screen printing technique.

I was already very strongly involved in the Berlin punk scene and started to create and print posters step by step by myself for local concerts which I organized.Few years later I met my art compatriot Ajka with whom as collaborative duo project under the name -The 13th Sign worked for several years and printed countless music related art, published coloring book and self fully screen printed Zodiac Signs calendar.

After a few years of hiatus from printing and being burnt out on the subject, I am glad that my enthusiasm for creating has returned.

However my true passion was always patterns.
Currently my work focuses mainly on botanicals and decorative floral swirls, ornamental decorations and everything nature inspired.
Besides, symmetry or geometry are playing large role in my designs as well.
Pattern design is fabulous outlet for expressing multiple artistic & creative elements at once, including shapes, textures and colors which I discovered and started to use in my work not so long time ago.
So I’m continually exploring different approaches with traditional printing methods as well as modern craft techniques.Just little over one year ago I fell in love with linocut and strong contrast of relief prints, especially on natural papers.
My dream is to analog or digital print the design onto all kinds of things like fabrics, paper, tiles n furniture…
