Profile
Zuza Loch is a Rotterdam-based graphic designer, who’s Polish origins, Dutch design education, feminist activism and fascination over Risography Screenprinting and independent publishing intertwine in creative practice. She plays with what’s uncertain, mixes sources and media, translates digital to analogue and back, combines rough with pleasant, darkness with colour and tries to bring joy into the visual stories to be told.
She has graduated from the Royal Academy of Arts in the Hague and has completed a semester at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM). Her interest in RISO brought her to Kitokia Grafika in Kaunas, Lithuania, where she did a Risodency exploring possibilities of Riso printmaking, zines and creating her own publications. She is currently working as a Graphic Designer and illustrator in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
