Profile
Brothers Ed & James Harrison are founders of Under The Skin, a creative partnership that brings together their passion for design and printmaking to shine a light on some of the world’s most endangered species.
Under the Skin prints are hand-crafted pieces of art with a powerful underlying message: under UV light, the phosphorescent skeleton of each animal is exposed, a reminder of all that remains when a species falls into the darkness of extinction. Each limited edition screenprint comes with a UV torch, makers booklet, charity card and printed media.
Working alongside over a dozen respected and global conservation charities including Sea Shepherd, the RSPB, and Global Wildlife Conservation, 20% of each print sale supports the work of an organisation fighting on the front line to protect each threatened species.
Through interactive exhibitions, talks and workshops, Under the Skin encourages people to broaden their awareness of the current environmental issues facing our planet and use the skills at their fingertips to become part of an urgent conversation.
