My name is Amanda Michelle. I’m a printmaker and community organizer in Austin Texas. My art is inspired by my work in racial justice and anti-violence community work. Work that I and other folks of marginalized identities inherited through generations of survival through resistance. I carry the fight with me and try create visions of curiosity, joy, healing, and belonging. I believe that cultural folklore, spiritual connection to the earth, and our own ancestral teachings show us how to survive and persist through pain and uncertainty.
