My name is John and I’m a Lino print artist from Solas agus Scáth based in Kinsale, Co Cork, Ireland
I have a collection of Irish coins, local landmarks, and other black and white prints available.
I print each one by hand onto high quality handmade paper from an original hand carved lino block.
Linocut is a printmaking technique, in which a sheet of linoleum is used as the relief surface.
Due to the handmade nature of Lino printing each print will be subtly different and may have very slight variations.
My prints are printed onto high quality textured ‘Lokta’ handmade paper from Nepal using Professional ‘Speedball’ block printing ink.
The photos shown give an accurate representation of the prints, I have tried to capture the true color of the paper and of the ink.
