My ‘works on paper’ explore visual abstractions of the spatial dynamics of urban environments. I respond to the intensity, sensorial experience and characteristics of the city; focusing on complexity, flux and layering. I capture converging elements that generate a synchronicity of form through physical and virtual activity in the city. I have developed a visual language of geometric forms as a code, such as artifact shapes and hybrid patterns in my artworks. My abstract representations of urban space take the form of mixed-media prints; incorporating monotype, intaglio, collagraph, digital, silkscreen and relief.
