Profile
My work is autobiographical because I engrave only what I see, like a travel diary. As a central motif, the landscape seen by me is later engraved inside the studio from photos taken by me. Mixing traveling artists and the flâneur concept.
The prints are a way to relive, and share my aesthetic experiences of the trip in prints.
After 5 years of production, with about 30 prints it is possible to say that there is a portrait of Latin America with images of Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru.
The engravings in metal are in small formats, almost like relics or intimate memories, the bigger side does not exceed 10cm. And lithographs are medium format and form a series from the same place.
I live and work in São Paulo, I try to make other trips across the continent and I am part of a collective and independent studio called Atelier Piratinga.
