Profile
Raoul Wilke is an independent graphic designer and art-director with a passion for print, typography and bold colour-use with a touch of humour. He likes to experiment with analog techniques and digitally remixes the results to playful and lighthearted compositions.
His biggest passion is screen printing but over the years his experiments led him to different techniques such as Riso printing and a drawing machine that is able to draw smooth gradients with DIY markers.
Raoul is fascinated by seemingly simple things; textures, geometric shapes and the properties of materials such as paper, ink or clay. By making use of those properties and adding an elementary but bold layer of artwork he developed a recognisable visual language that always tries to uplift the onlookers mood.
