Letterpress printing, typographic design, signwriting, restoration and assorted trades by Theo Wang.
Operating primarily as a letterpress print studio, Print & Ephemera offers a range of commission print services, products and workshops, all produced by hand in Bristol using Victorian printing presses, an extensive collection of lead and woodblock type, brass picture blocks and all manner of printing equipment. My aim is to keep alive the letterpress tradition and apply it to a contemporary setting through craftsmanship and practice.
Predominantly I design and make my own range of limited edition prints, notebooks, greetings cards, stationery and keepsakes. Print & Ephemera also operates as a jobbing press; offering a wide range of print commission and graphic design services for commercial or individual jobs; from bespoke designed products for retail to business cards and wedding stationery. Previous clients include: Tate Modern & Britain, V&A, Museum Of London, Southbank Centre, Ditchling Museum, Liberty.
Lastly, I run workshops in my studio at various points throughout the year, allowing people to get a chance to introduce themselves to the world of letterpress printing.
