I am pursuing a BFA in Printmaking at Colorado State University, where I am developing a practice rooted in intaglio and other traditional printmaking methods. My work gravitates toward surreal and ornamental imagery, merging meticulous detail with imaginative concepts. I have been dedicated to art my entire life. Before discovering printmaking, I studied oil painting throughout middle and high school, with a particular focus on traditional still lifes and portraits. This foundation continues to inform my approach, as I bring great attention to detail and composition into my prints. What draws me most to printmaking is its process-driven nature; each stage builds upon the last, reflecting the layered complexity I aim for in my work.
