I am a graphic designer and illustrator currently living and working in London. I moved from Iran to the UK when I was 19 years old to pursue higher education and better life opportunities.
Having studied Design for Graphic Communications at The University of The Arts London, I have explored a broad range of subjects as a part of my degree. Since graduating in 2014, I have been working in the creative industry as a designer and educator; successfully completing a large body of work for global organisations.
During the pandemic, I used illustration as a tool to express everything that was going on in my head and a way to communicate my thoughts and feelings. Since then, I have found a unique illustrative style by experimenting with bold colour combinations, textures, compositions, and unusual perspectives.
My personal style is influenced by my experiences as an Iranian woman, having lived in both contrasting cultures of Europe and the Middle East. This high contrast often shows in my artwork and creates a playful, vibrant, and captivating foundation for my illustrations.
