Lottie Mac is a professional artist whose background in architecture and engineering has allowed her to travel to humanitarian crises around the world. Her artwork is inspired by the sights and sounds of humanitarian work, the places and people I wouldn’t otherwise see or meet, from Nepal to Iraq, Pakistan to Cameroon.
After gaining privileged access to the the humanitarian response in Iraq following the reconstruction of houses damaged by the conflict following ISIS occupation, she is currently working on a series of prints to reflect, honor and share the impact of the conflict.
Her work is a mixture of monoprint, collograph and drypoint techniques, which results in original one-off prints
