Kelley grew up on the San Francisco Peninsula. She loves to travel and has lived in a variety of areas such as the Colombia River Gorge in Washington State, Sonoma, and as far as both Finland, and China. She now resides in Truckee, California which has been her families second home since she was young. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sonoma State University, with a major in Fine Arts and a minor in Environmental Studies. She took her first printmaking class during her freshman year not knowing what to expect and not even knowing what printmaking was. She fell in love with this ancient almost lost art form.
Her work has been displayed in Juried Shows, including, Sonoma State University, the Columbia Center for the Arts in Oregon, and the City Art Gallery in San Francisco. Kelley’s work has been commissioned at the Galbreath Preserve in Sonoma. Her work has also been privately featured at San Francisco’s Charles Schwab, and San Francisco’s Clarion Performing Arts Center. She was a regular artist at The Frame Gallery in Hood River, Oregon. She has also published two children’s books, Ziggy Finds Her Light and Ziggy Shines the Brightest Star. Currently she is a regular artist at the North Tahoe Arts Center in Tahoe City and Kings Beach. Her work is also shown at Riverside Studios in downtown Truckee. Kelley is also a member of the Graphic Arts Workshop Studio for printmaking in San Francisco. She is looking forward to being in the Reno Tahoe International Art Show this coming September 14-17, 2023.
