Jenny Lee Robinson is a Minnesotan born, mixed race artist of Korean descent working and residing in Seoul, South Korea. Her education, was also bicultural, in that she completed her B.F.A at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2011, and later received her M.F.A at Ewha Woman’s University as a NIIED Korea Global Scholarship Program Scholar in 2017. She creates work related to storytelling, migration, womanhood, and identity, in various media including printmaking, cut paper arts, book arts, collage, and painting, and installation. She currently balances her artistic life by working as an artist and designer at the animation pre-production company, Circus Image Works, and producing her own personal artwork at the printmaking studio, Mini Print Seoul, and in her own personal art studio, and exhibits her work in solo and group exhibitions.
