Ivo Lederer

My name is Ivo (he/him/yours), I’m 23, and I’m a queer trans printmaker from Vienna, Austria. I’ve been doing linocut for a little over a year now, and it’s turned my life around. I’ve made artist friends, I’m working with local queer organizations like Venib or ChaInge Peergroup, and it’s turned into my first ever job, selling prints at markets and conventions. I know there’s still a lot for me to learn, and lately, I’ve been challenging myself to use other color palettes than that of the trans flag (tho I very much like using it, since it’s so versatile). I’m not using a printing press, since (while technically going to artschool (Kunstschule Wien)) I mostly work at home, in my room.
(I’m currently taking a Skillshare course on Screenprinting, so we’ll see where that takes me).
