Cose illustrate

Hi, my name is Federica Tumminello and I am an illustrator and printmaker based in Turin, specializing in linocut and graphic arts. My artistic journey began at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo, where I studied painting and printmaking, developing a deep passion for traditional printing techniques.
In my work, I explore the bold and tactile nature of linocut, creating illustrations that blend graphic simplicity with expressive detail. My style is characterized by strong contrasts, handcrafted textures, and a narrative approach inspired by editorial illustration and printmaking traditions.
Through my project Cose Illustrate, I create original prints, postcards, and limited editions, with a strong focus on high-quality materials and the craftsmanship of the printing process. Each piece is born from the desire to preserve the tactile and unique essence of traditional printmaking, standing in contrast to digital reproduction.
