Small intaglio workshop in Carouge, Geneva, Switzerland
I try to explore all the various techniques of direct etching and indirect engraving, and above all to share them through courses, in my studio or in other venues.
I love introducing the public to the possibilities of this craft. I give courses in my studio, but I also organize shorter sessions : engraving evenings in a bar, workshops on tetrapak in libraries, or drypoint in a community center.
In addition to teaching, I work with my friend Paul Ghidoni (@paulghidoni) on long intaglio projects. After a work on the mountain, resulting in a 4m-long leporello (https://atelierleckie.ch/montagna-montagne/) , we’re working on a Cabinet of Curiosities project. We try to explore and test the infinite possibilities of intaglio engraving. Our latest exploration: printing on plaster. I very much enjoy scrolling the printmaking community on instagram and discovering new ways of working and testing printmaking.
