I'm from Varazdin, Croatia. After high school (ceramic design and architecture) i studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with a degree in painting and film animation in 2006. After years of painting and a few exhibitions i started to make music, DJing, organizing music events and DJ nights which needed posters, so i started to make screenprint posters for every event. Later i slowly started to incorporate screenprinting into my own paintings and personal work, which i have done since.

Atelier Vastag is a printmaking studio run by painter, graphic designer and screen printer Laslo Vastag. Utilising screen printing, painting and other printing techniques he produces artworks and small edition flat stock prints.

Besides serving as his personal studio he also offers printmaking services and collaborations for other creatives.
