My name is Natalia Ros and I am an illustrator&printmaker. Everything I do is 100% hand printed with blockprintg (usually softcut).
I’m inspired by nature, especially the sea and everything it hides. I love the different colors of water or vegetation, the shapes that nature gives us, the life that emerges…. I would like the planet to be more sustainable, so I take great care in my production process. I carefully choose the papers I use, recycled cotton from the fashion, recycled coffee, sugar cane bagasse, olives… I love the creative process, from the first drawing to the final handprint.
After a long time of research, trial and error, I have found the perfect process to print textiles with blockprinting and this allows me to create high quality and resistant products (fabrics, table linen, bags, t-shirts…)
In addition, I work with a very special process with layers that allows me to cover already printed elements to create different depths between one element and another.
I have my own studio/shop in Barcelona (Spain) and through my online store I ship worldwide.
