Emily is an artist and printmaker from Swadlincote, Derbyshire who in often inspired by literature and the gothic.

She discovered printmaking during a foundation degree and went on to specialise in print as her chosen medium for her Fine Art degree at the University of Derby, of which she starts her second year in September.

Her passions are in lino, collograph and monoprinting alongside letterpress and embossing, but wishes to expand her creative prospects through other forms of print in the future.

She spends most of her time printing at university as well as in her own little studio at home where she prints on her own Adana 8x5 and on her mini etching press.

She has become extremely passionate about this art form over the past 2 years and looks forward to whatever the future may hold for her as an artist and printmaker.
